Although the name itself can be confusing, the concept is fairly simple. The term "trunk show" refers to the trunks, more like boxes, that the dresses arrive in. Trunk shows are a special occasion for many reasons! Once a date is set, the designer sends us a full selection of sample wedding gowns from their latest collection! From the runway, straight to our boutique.
The trunk show dresses are not always found in our store, so it is an amazing opportunity for brides to see a broader range of our designers' style. Additionally, while the new gowns are in store, all our dresses by that designer will be discounted at a special price! However, those prices and new gowns will only last the weekend of the trunk show event. Keep an eye out on our social media because we always post news about our upcoming trunk shows!
These events are helpful to the boutiques as well, because it gives us a look at what our brides are loving from the collections fresh from the runway. We like to keep in mind what our brides loved or didn't like when we go to select new dresses at market. It's important to us that our collection best reflects the interests of our brides!
